Staff Expertise


CSEND's staff includes development and management experts with doctoral and post-graduate degrees in business administration, adult education, psychology, economics, science and history. A number of staff members are authors of books and articles on topics related to public administration, training technology and intercultural negotiation. The staff's combined expertise includes many years of experience implementing change policy in the public sector, and conducting training and educational programmes for international organisations.

In addition to the permanent staff, CSEND maintains an active network of professional associates throughout the world. There are more than 200 experts with business administration, management, human resources, finance, law and communications expertise who carried out assignments for CSEND in the last decade.

 

Ongoing Scholarship


CSEND cooperates closely with universities and research institutes and offers internship and postgraduate study opportunities to visiting scholars. The directors of CSEND as well as its staff continue to engage in research activities and participate in international conferences of renowned professional associations.

When feasible, CSEND staff also teach courses and seminars at universities and research institutes in Europe, Asia and North America.

Library


The Centre's library has more than 150,000 books and 100 periodicals to meet the needs of staff and experts carrying out special assignments. The volumes include collections on topics ranging from organisational behaviour and human resource development to globalisation, economics, and dispute resolution. The library is available to visiting scholars and clients by appointment.
